Mid-Level Web Developer– Bedfordview
Our client, a dynamic software developer in the financial services industry, based in Bedfordview, urgently needs Web Developers with Visual Basic.Net and/or C# experience to start immediately or as soon as possible!
Salary: R22 000 – R45 000 depending on experience

Requirements:
Matric
IT based tertiary qualifications will count in your favour
5 years or more in Visual Basic.Net and/or C#
Experience in developing web based applications is key.
Database experience is a necessity with an understanding of stored procedures and triggers in SQL Server or Oracle.
Insurance system experience will be beneficial,
Must have own transport

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
We are looking for a developer who can work on web based solutions.
The candidate will spend 80% of their time developing leading edge solutions in Visual Basic.Net, C# and ASP.Net on .Net Framework 4.0 using Visual Studio 2010 including AJAX and 20% on classic ASP and Visual Basic systems.
Backend solutions are mostly Oracle based with some systems using SQL Server, however experience on Oracle is not mandatory as we will ease the transition to Oracle.
Our developers are involved in the full SDLC and will be required to liaise with clients, understand requirements and be part of the solution design, as well as being responsible for building the solutions.
