Maintenance Millwright (Shift)

We are manufacturing plant of feed phosphate looking for Millwrights to join the engineering and maintenance team.

To upkeep, repair and improve all plant equipment’s across the site and including warehouse plants/areas and sub areas. To improve plant availability and equipment efficiencies through a high standard of engineering practices when executing maintenance tasks/activities. To plan and execute scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance for daily activities and planned shut downs. Ensure scope of work and responsibilities are carried out in line with company procedures and policies as well as ISO 9001, 14001 and NOSA systems. To ensure a high standard of housekeeping & safety on, in and around plant areas and workshops. The role is shift based.

•Actively support safe by choice program and support maintenance team in always striving for excellence to meet milestones, objectives and deadlines.
•Ensure efficient and effective execution, to completion, of all safety corrective actions.
•Execute daily routine inspections of designated plant areas and tools/equipment and reporting of findings.
•Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities ensuring equipment, machinery and plant production is functioning correctly.
•Ensuring a high level of housekeeping on the plant and equipment’s before, during and after maintenance tasks.
•Maintain plant equipment’s and areas according to engineering standards.
•Communicate and work with production personnel in order to achieve department and company objectives.
•Maintain good relations with all team members: engineering and production personnel as well as external service providers, contractors and management.
•Support peers and team members in daily activities, problem solving and tasks.


Trade tested/qualified
A minimum of 2 years post trade test experience in a chemical plant or rleated engineering, manufacturing environment.
