Job Description

Analysing business intelligence and trends
Optimising of functional processing
Providing strategic function and direction
Promoting statutory compliance
Designing, executing, controlling and monitoring approved changes
Interpreting operational plans and production results of the mine
Executing operation effectiveness models and practices
Supplying input into functional planning
Constantly updating micro and macro economic conditions
Where required, examining production asset performance trends in opposition to required objectives, implementation of corrective actions
Implementing cost control systems
Maintaining internal and external stakeholder relations
Supplying highly specialised support to assorted stakeholders
Engaging and contributing in the workforce planning process
Responsible for team development and training

Minimum Requirements

GCC Mine Manager Certificate
B Tech Degree in Mining Engineering
2 years of supervisory experience
6 years mine engineering and related operations experience
Must have the following system skills - Electronic Document Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Information Management Systems, Learner Management Systems, Microsoft Office And SHERQ Systems
Required to have good business acumen, good leadership and management skills as well as good relationship building skills
Required to have a valid Code B drivers licence
