Mine Human Resources Manager, Supervisor – Gauteng
Must have a Degree Human Resources Management OR BA Degree Industrial Psychology OR B Com Degree Industrial Psychology
Must have Minimum 5 working years in a Mining industry or related in the role of providing leadership, subject matter expertise, collaboration and direction to the Mine’s Human Resources (HR) function in developing, implementing and leading effective HR strategies, policies, programmes and procedures that are aligned with the Mine Vision, Mission, Values and business objectives considering the impact thereof on all internal and external stakeholders.
Exp. as Human Resources generalist of which 3 years working experience in a supervisory or management level
Management Development Programme (MDP) or similar management development programme
Must have very good Experience in legislation (BCEA, EE, LRA, Skills Development)
Computer Literacy+ Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Level)
Valid driver’s license +own transport
Must be willing to relocate to all areas
The role provides leadership, subject matter expertise, collaboration and direction to the Mine’s Human Resources (HR) function developing, implementing, leading effective HR strategies, policies, programmes and procedures are aligned with the Mine Vision, Mission, Values a business objectives considering the impact thereof on all internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance to Mining Charter, Work Place Skills Plan/Annual Training Report, Employment Equity Report and Social Labour Plan targets
Implement systems, procedures to ensure adherence to promotion of relevant legislation
Identify business needs, align with strategic objectives of organization
Develop, implement performance management process effective development
Monitor progress of community development projects
Plan, align manage the Human Resources Functions, budget with strategic objectives of Mine
Responsible lead local HR strategy participate in design, development, and delivery of different actions so outcomes meet the Operation’s current and future business through attraction, engagement, development, motivation of employees.
Partner with GM, management team, interpretation of HR policies, employment legislation, risk management, coach management team in wide range of HR matters
Compliance to+ reporting of Mining Charter, Work Place Skills Plan/Annual Training Report, Mine specific Employment Equity Report, Social Labour Plan.
Partner with Group HR function to implement development, employee relations, communications, compensation benefits, streamlined HR service delivery systems, programs to Group HR standards.
Identify organizational development needs in partnership with stakeholders’ design implement strategies to needs, optimize grant opportunities in partnership with group HR development team, execute mine specific talent management plan.
Conduct survey with potential employee engagement challenges in partnership with stakeholders, design plans. Development, implement strategic workforce planning process to achieve objectives of organization.
Facilitate establishment of communication platforms meeting structures.
Support good employee relations, work environment establishment of effective communication, consultation channels, effectively efficiently Collaborate with ER team to pro-actively, manage potential ER incidents. Drive implementation of development framework for mine management agreed outcomes
Lead team of human resources
Ensure that the team structure is resourced by motivated, engaged, empowered staff.
Oversee recruitment at all levels, final approver of hiring decisions.

Planning Budget Develop execute HR plan budget support business units HR related plan
Establish good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system with HR Function.
Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation Audit: Ensure all HR reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines, schedules
