Must have minimum of 3 -5 years security experience within a Mining Industry.
Certificate in Security Risk Management or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification.
PSIRA Grade B
Must have minimum of 3 -5 years security experience within a Mining Industry.
Fire Arm competent for business purposes.
Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have a valid driver's license
Reporting to the Security Supervisor Operations
The role will provide a security service to the operation by ensuring the effective management
Functioning and operating of security shifts and reporting of all incidents to the Senior Security Officer: Operations.
Provide assurance of effective security devices and represent the SSO Ops when he/she is not on mine, over weekends and public holidays.
Manage and control security personnel in the effective execution of security duties in the protection of personnel, product and assets.
Experience gained and skills in applying preventative measures and actions about the prevention of company property damage and theft.
Identify security risks, proposed mitigation, and report timeously.
Read, interpret and apply all related policies and procedures and the applicable legislative requirements.
Secure crime scene and do an initial crime scene evidence collection and identification.
Know and understand the relevant security systems, and apply these systems in accordance with Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP's)
