Minimum requirements:
• Tertiary Qualification – National Higher Diploma or Degree
• Preferably a tertiary Sales / Marketing or Business Skills Qualification
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive sales at management level
• Experienced team leader
• Proven track record in achieving sales plan / negotiating / presentation skills
• Sound financial interpretive and administrative skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Numeracy and analytical skills
• Good planning and project management skills •

Duties:
• Promote core operating principles of safety and health, environmental stewardship, highest ethical behaviour and respect for people throughout the company
• Manage the Customer-Management team activities to achieve overall business goals and build strong customer relationships
• Develop and implement sales strategies for customers in accordance with company strategy
• Develop and manage sales and expense plan
• Meet / exceed monthly and annual revenue and profit plan
• Ensure excellent customer service
• Work collaboratively with Technical, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Finance to identify and commercialise business opportunities
• Project Management: lead cross-functional teams in implementing commercial projects
• Coaching, training and development of sales team
• Provide and manage market intelligence feedback and adjust sales strategies accordingly
• Maintain good corporate governance
• Manage employment equity objectives in functional area
• Gather intel on market and customer activities
• Align with Global Sales and Customer Managers per OEM
• Ensure department contributes and performs to achieve compliance requirements
