.Net Developer – Software Delivery

Location: Cape Town / Remote
Salary: R700k per annum negotiable

About the Role:
Participate in the implementation and achievement of departmental objectives. Responsible for the technical execution of projects to meet briefs, standards, client requirements and deadlines, as well as maintain and support industry leading software.

Programming:
5+ years relevant development experience
Full stack .Net developer using C#
LINQ & Lambda expressions
Entity Framework 4.6 and above
Entity Framework Core
Persistence Framework (LinqToSQL using SQLMetal)
Multi-Threading o Reflection
.NET Core 3.1
Frameworks .NET 4.6 and above
Html5, CSS, jQuery, or Angular JS
MVC
Strong Object Orientation knowledge
Delegates and Events
Solid experience using Design Patterns
SOA experience:
REST Services
Web Services
WCF Services
Windows Services
JSON, XML & XSLT
Solid SQL experience:
Database Design on SQL Server 2014 and higher
Strong T-SQL competency
SQL Server Integration Services
SQL Server Reporting Services
Source Control Systems
TFS, Azure DevOps
Proven experience using TFS build services and pipelines
MS - Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Solid understanding of IIS configuration

Duties:
Analysing requirements, planning and design of development solution
Responsible for ensuring that all work meets best practice code re-usability
Application maintenance and fault resolution
Ensure adequate testing of all development to meet quality standards (permutations, usability, stability and accuracy)
Assist with the construction and approach to application test plans, as well as execute systems and program test plan to verify correct operation of completed system.
Ensure understanding of and compliance to company development methodology and standards
Assist with the development of software solutions to relevant platforms
Mentorship of Junior Developers
