PHARMACEUTICAL / HEALTHCARE SECTOR
Leading Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Concern seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Network Sales Consultant for their Western Cape and KZN Regions to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be driven and passionate with strong commercial acumen, advanced computer skills and knowledge of / keen interest in Management Information Systems and the application of the analytical reporting functionality thereof.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Responsible for actively recruit and contract targeted Retail Pharmacies and Dispensing providers to become members of the Company’s Provider Network within the demarcated geo-demographic territory in the Western Cape / KZN with country trips to Gauteng region on a regular basis.
Perform cyclical business reviews with the NP’s in the demarcated territory, using the Company’s Management Information System during which review sessions the objective would be achieve the incremental script growth budgetary guidelines
Develop and maintain unprecedented customer relationships and service levels with the Customers within the demarcated territory and to enhance the two-way communication between the NP’s and Company;
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the designated Company Pharmacy Assistants assigned to the NPs within the Consultant’s demarcated territory;
Ensure the timeous implementation of the Company’s marketing communication messages

Salary package will include: Basic Salary, Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Commission, OPEX & CAPEX

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant Business / Bachelors Degree / Diploma (Sales / Marketing, IT, Finance or Medical / Life Sciences)
Advanced level Computer Literacy (proficient in all Microsoft Packages)
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong analytical and commercial skills / Strong Business Acumen
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written (Fluent in Afrikaans and English)
Able to develop strong relationships with Network Providers
Excellent Report writing skills
Persuasive, innovative and willing to take initiative
Good knowledge and proven application of administration processes, systems and practices
Driven and self-motivated, able to take initiative
Professional and presentable
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Able to do in-country trips on a regular basis and also attend 2 weeks’ intensive training upon commencement of employment
Willing to go the extra mile to meet with operational outcomes

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Fluent communication in English and Afrikaans is essential depending on the demographic profile of the customers within the designated territory.
Ability to apply, analyse and logically interpret the outcomes of the reporting and analytical functionalities when interacting with customers during the cyclical business reviews.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of NP’s or their employees.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

A sound understanding and fluency of any Windows driven software application in view of the fact that most of the Information Technology platforms used in the NP’s practices run on Windows applications.
Ability to design animated professional Power Point Presentations to ensure a clear understanding of the core objectives, performance measures and desirable outcomes with the NP’s whilst performing the cyclical business reviews.
Possess an intermediate to advance skill level of Excel and the mathematical, statistical and quantitative methods thereof when analysing the utilization data. This also includes the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs / charts.
Experience with, or a keen interest in Management Information Systems and the application of the analytical reporting functionality thereof as to manipulate raw data in an intelligent and logical manner when measuring performance outcomes and trends

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
