The Money Group is looking for an experienced and self-starter Business Development Manager to drive adoption for new services. This is an exciting opportunity to own defining and executing this worldwide business development strategy.

The ideal candidate will be required to develop and handle both new and existing relationships with the intermediary market, exerting the required drive, technical expertise and influence to increase the flow of new business, to help achieve our challenging market share aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and supervising the company's activities and employees with regard to new product launches and implementation
Analysing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate with approval of the CEO
Hands-on management and development of medium to large clients
Lead and monitor a large team of employees
Develop and implement budgets, prepare reports for senior management and ensure the department complies with company requirements
Perform in-depth financial needs analysis to identify cross-selling
Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage on their existing client base
Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business
Ability to create and increase revenue and economic profit from new and existing clients and products – (biz plan and develop strategy)
Working against set targets and/or commissions
Hands on management and development of a team to ensure that targets are meet monthly.
Key Capabilities:

Extraordinary communication skills across all levels.
Evidence of successfully achieving or exceeding sales targets
Understanding of the intermediary market place including regulatory, technical and legislative issues.
An understanding of the key competition and their propositions within this market.
Ability to focus attention on meeting agreed business targets, priorities and objectives
Strong analytical skills validated through the ability to review a range of information and metrics and identify and prioritize appropriate actions
Relationship Management Skills - builds rapport, trust and customer
Qualifications required:

BCom in Financial Management (must have)
Minimum of 10 years experience in Business Development
Minimum of 5 years Banking or Financial Services experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in Banking
