New Business Development Sales Manager
Our client, large blue chip company based in Vanderbijlpark has a vacancy for a person with the following:

Managing sales representatives, monitoring of sales activity, sales functions and driving new business development

In addition to this the successful candidate will assist the sales representatives with customer relations and growing the Company’s customer base and wallet share at prospective customers.

Report back to management on sales forecasts and sales reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Grade 12 or higher.
• Sales Managerial Experience.
• Relevant operational and \ or communication related qualifications.
• Marketing qualification advantageous.
• 3 years’ + experience in relevant business solutions sales management role.
• Good product knowledge
• System design and completion of scope of works
• Able to put together sales strategies and market penetration plans

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
• Establish a new business development sales team.
• Performance manage sales executives
• Conduct sales training for sales representatives.
• Manage all aspects of client relationships and ensure that service delivery at all times meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Ensure that administration is completed according to company standard.
• Responsible for day to day duties listed below:
o Gain market share for the Company’s entire product suite – New customer base
o Resolving customer issues
o Sales reports
o Achievement of set budgets by company
o Pipelines and projections
o Managing call reports from sales executives

The successful candidate must:
• Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to interact with clients, external and internal, build and maintain relationships and understand client needs and requirements.
• Have strong sales skills and a good general knowledge of the entire product suite and its partner’s offers.
• The appointed person will report directly to and work closely with the General Sales Manager.
