Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a New Business Sales Executive from the Courier and Road Freight sector. The position is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng with a direct report to the National Sales Manager. Experience in cold calling, hunting for sales and new business in a large, high pressurised environment essential.

Main Responsibilities:
• Acquire new business, in line with budget requirements, by successful prospecting, & effective negotiating skills.
• To build strong and effective relationships with Key Account Customers in line with our customer centric business model.
• Achieve the targets and KPI, with view to grow the business in line with the SA Vision and plan.

Requirements for the position:
• Grade 12 Required with strong, Math & English achieved,
• A Qualification in Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.
• Experience of Courier / Road Freight Industry
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a sales environment
• International sales courier experience optional
• Must be “NEW BUSINESS” – Hunting /Cold calling/specialist/ ability to work under pressure,
• Experience minimum of 2-5 years in Courier Domestic, International – Africa / International
• Proven track record – Payslip / Commission payable / KPI must be made available
• A clear understanding of Freight Audit Reports
• Computer literate. (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication & client relations & service orientation skills
