NIMART qualified Professional Nurse with Dispensing License, and minimum 5 years’ experience in a Primary Healthcare setting required for positions in Cape Town, Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

Minimum requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing with minimum 5 years’ experience essential
• NIMART qualification essential
• Dispensing License essential
• Diploma in Clinical Assessment, diagnosis, treatments advantageous
• Post Graduate training in Primary Health Care or Public Health highly beneficial
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a primary healthcare setting required
• HIV, AIDS and STI treatment and care experience required
• Experience in managing patients on ART required
• Experience in working with Key Population group, specifically MSM, required
• Previous experience working in the private sector (private GP/retail pharmacy/private clinic) advantageous
• Expert knowledge of South African HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Management guidelines required
• SANC registration essential
• TIER.Net knowledge advantageous
• Driver’s License and own transport essential
• Computer literate
• Must be able to work remotely without supervision
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours (night outreach and weekends)
• Must be comfortable with field based service delivery

Responsibilities:
• HTS, STI screening and treatment aimed at reducing number of new HIV infections in Key Population Groups, specifically Men who have Sex with Men (MSM)
• Clinical assessment of MSM to deliver comprehensive package of care including HIV and STI diagnosis and treatment and PrEP for high risk negative clients
• Assessment of ART initiation
• Assessment of PrEP client for eligibility
• Engage with Private Network GP’s to support follow up with clients
• Liaise with local DoH to procure commodities for HTS, ART and STI Treatment and clinical stationery
• Manage and supervise a working and up-to-date dispensary – record all stock received and dispensed
• Collect and collate monthly stats for reporting to funders and DoH
• Liaise with Peer Navigators and Patient Management Counsellors to trace defaulting treatments client and re-link into care
• Coordinate safe disposal of medical waste
• Supervision of staff
