Our client based in the North of Johannesburg is looking for a NOC Support Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities of a NOC Support include:

• Troubleshooting IP services and networks.

• Providing customer support to business clients

• Levels 1,2 and 3 NOC Support Technical skills

• Monitoring company networks and responding to issues

• Manage the integration of new network technologies

• Monitoring of network alarms and reacting appropriately

• Announcing service schedules to network users

• Supervising network changes and ensuring that they work

• Advanced Wi-Fi experience
•
• Ability to plan, deploy, test, troubleshoot and support large scale Wi-Fi networks

• Experience with setting up FTTH (fibre to the home)

• Experience with P2P (point to point) and P2MultiP (setup, config, planning and installation)

• Security experience, including Denial of Service and other hacking penetration attempts

• Experience with configuring and managing firewalls
•
• Experience with Radius and Hot spots (setup, config, troubleshoot)

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Microtik certificate or a Microtik routing certificate.
