Purpose:
The Professional Nurse supervises community health in the ward based outreach programme, oversees implementation of the community health programme in the community. The Outreach Team Leader is also responsible for training, mentoring and debriefing of community health care workers.
This role will be required to assist in the district of Brits

Qualifications Required:
• Diploma in Nursing (General, Midwifery, Community and Psychiatry)
HIV/AIDS Counselling and Testing Certificate
• Advantageous
Diploma in Primary Health Care
Community Health Worker (WBOT)
Work Proven Experience:
• 2 years Primary health care
• HIV counselling and testing experience
• NIMART
• IMCI
• Mentoring
• Community mobilization, engagements and health education
• Basic computer skills
• Supervision of staff Advantageous
TB and HIV contact tracing
Adherence counselling
Quality Improvement
Other Requirements
• Overnight travel (up to 10%) by land or air when required
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Own Vehicle
