Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality chicken products to the SA market via various brands, is seeking to employ an Occupational Health Staff Nurse for its operations.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position at the Human Resources Division. The job holder is responsible for the administration and operation of efficient Occupational Health services, compliance with relevant Occupational Health legislation, the assessment of Occupational Health Risks and the implementation of Occupational Health Management Programs.

Registration as Enrolled Nurse with SANC, Certificates in Audiometry and Spirometry and two years’ experience in an Occupational Health environment are required. The ability to communicate in isiXhosa will be advantageous. This position requires the working of shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring 24/7 Clinic coverage. Shift times alter from week to week and include the working of night shifts and weekend work.
