Online English Teachers/Tutors (Guaranteed Hours)

Our home-based teaching opportunity offers you guaranteed daytime teaching hours when you’ll get the chance to inspire and educate curious minds.

Guaranteed hours = Guaranteed pay.
Missed lessons from students? You still get paid. Class cancelled? You still get paid.

POSITION DETAILS :
1. Start Date: June 2021
2. Teaching Hours: Monday to Sunday 08H30 to 16H30 SA time
3. Guaranteed hours plus additional hours can be booked.
4. 12-30 hours per week depending on your chosen shift schedule.
5. Students: Teaching adults based in China. Occasional kids classes.
6. Remuneration: Earn between $285 and $780 per month based upon the shifts that you choose.
7. Location: Work from the convenience of your home.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
1. Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled and have completed at least 1 year of study
2. We will help you get the required 120 hours for accreditation with TEFL, TESOL, TEYL or CELTA (unless you have it already).
3. Computer literate
4. No criminal record

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
PC specifications:
o Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 ****@*****.*** (4 CPUs) or greater
o Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
o Backup power
o Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching)
o A stable fibre internet connection
o At a minimum of 10 mbps upload and download speeds
o PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection
o Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset highly recommended
o Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
