Job Summary:
The Scaffold Operation Manager is ensuring successful management of all scaffolding activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirement as approved by the company. As a responsible person to plan, schedule, coordinate, and supervise all craft personnel activity, equipment, and materials within the applicable discipline on multiple projects. He should manage all resources in best way to execute jobs in faster and safer ways. He should have the capabilities to follow up cash flows to adopt expenses and increase profit.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Over all execution of projects in compliance with client requirements and applicable national and international standards.
Understand the company’s safety policy and the responsibility allocated to each grade of supervision.
Implement all safe work practices in plant according to organization as well as client procedures.
Obtain the scope of work and plan and prepare for the upcoming work schedule in advance.
Arrange work force in productive way and ensure the adequate manpower and materials are available in project.
Continuously monitor productivity and percentage complete, identifying problems and potential delays, and provide solutions to overcome.
Discussing and resolving daily problems with the crew supervisors and the construction group to ensure smooth execution of the scaffolding erection/inspection or removal activity.
Ensure adequate vehicle and equipment and other required resources are available in projects.
Participate with client meeting and address site related concern and update client regarding project scope of and execution status.
Feedback company management timely and address all site concerns without delay.
Ensure all site related documents are maintained by concern personnel and do audit periodically.
Follow up with charge sheets and invoices with concerned client personnel and update company management with the same.
Monitor employee’s productivity and safe execution as per company progress system and manage all overtime activity.
Plan and prepare for upcoming shut down activities as per site requirements and address to management in advance for better execution.
Conduct gap analysis and identify the project gaps in both operation and safety and develop action plan and follow up for implementation.
Participate with client in auditing as well as site HSE team and ensure recommendation made from audit being implemented.
Contributes to the preparation of annual maintenance budgets. Ensures that all scaffolding services are carried out within budget.
Developing, in conjunction with the responsible personnel, all new project bids providing applicable labour equipment and logistical cost estimates.
Developing applicable project schedules based on site construction schedules.
Developing applicable material requirement lists (including liaison with Engineering as needed);
Coordinating all material procurement activities within the organization concerned personnel.
Familiar with all company safety and QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them with the work force under full responsibility.
Ensuring all health & safety compliance requirements are maintained and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Civil/Mech., Bachelor Graduate.
Good communicate and understand English (Read/ Writing), should be computer literate MS office etc.
Attending safety courses or programs with certificate proof to gain all the instructions of safety precautions in oil and gas projects.
Good Leadership Skill to handle multi-disciplinary functions.
Must have Minimum 10 years site experience as scaffold Superintendent in Industrial Plants (Petrochemical/ Power Plant/ & Refineries) and training
certification Scaffold Supervisor I/ Scaffold Inspector (Third party training authority such as TUV/Integrated Training center, etc) and Valid Car Driving license.
Working in previous projects in Arabian Gulf area is preferred.
Must have minimum 5 years in leading different projects in oil and gas field as operation manager, preferred in scaffolding activities.
Ability to work under a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
