The ideal candidate must be in possession of a

BSc degree in Wood Science and Forestry or equivalent
Min 15 years’ demonstrated/proven experience at managerial level.
Strong leadership, above-average computer and interpersonal/teambuilding skills are essential.
Strong safety knowledge and background.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of both Sawmill and Forestry operations in his/her business region. This will entail, amongst others, managing the forest responsibilities and that of sawmilling / processing in order to ensure that the highest returns on these business assets are achieved.
