Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an Operations Manager from the Signage, Vinyl, Print, Advertising and Graphic Design industry. The successful incumbent will be in charge of all operations, running the branch, overseeing staff, stock control, procurement, sales, business development, work in progress and related. A creative mind and industry experience will be advantageous to best appreciate the business model and offer solutions and identify opportunities in the market to grow the brand in the Eastern Cape.

Core functions:
• Leading and motivating an existing team, including operations, project and production management of all signage installations,
• Taking brief from the client, through quotation, project planning and coordination, staff management and timeous delivery / execution of projects.
• Understanding of finance, PPE, OHS, permits etc for site visits
• Manage staff, performance reviews, manage and control stock, materials and inventory
• Operations/Project/Production Management
• Management of Installations from an operational perspective essential
• Project management skills and experience essential
• Able to manage large projects and people in a highly pressurised environment
• Solid technical knowledge of signage manufacture - large format digital and screen printing

Qualifications:
• Grade 12, Relevant post matric qualification will be advantageous
• MS Office, Corel Draw, AutoCAD (Similar), Adobe Photoshop etc & sound computer knowledge
• Graphic Design background; Construction / building trade understanding; ability to interpret drawings, offer advice and creative perspective
• Own Transport essential
• Experience working in the signage industry, print, vinyl, graphics etc
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
• Must be results-orientated; go getter attitude & able to work both independently & within a team environment.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional manner and behaviour at all times – staff must lead by example
