The company is currently working across several sites in the Western Cape and is in the process of expanding. A strong focus on logistics, administration and the customer experience as well as excellent knowledge of the construction sector would be recommendations for the successful candidate in this role.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Construction background, preferably waterproofing
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Communication skills both verbal & written in English
• Leadership skills
• Showing initiative, high level of ‘thinking on your feet’
• Understand and convey worksheets and specifications
• Multitask and strategize across multiple sites
• Superior client liaison
• Vendor negotiation and streamlining of supply
• Establish basic training manuals/ programmes
• Assist with continuous corporate image programmes
• Attend site and management/planning meetings as necessary
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite

• Continuous training - manuals and programmes
• Costing works, processing works and execution
• Conflict resolution skills
• Risk management skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources per site
• Assist with setting budgets and ensure they are met
• Assist site managers with
o Allocation of work based on deadlines, emergencies and client needs
o Ensure strategies are in place to execute works to complete on time
o Ensure unseen issues, challenges are quickly dealt with and record everything
o Ensure that works completed are ready for handover and signed off
o In general, ensure everyone has a clear understanding of the task(s) at hand
• As and when needed, liaise with Engineers or Architects and follow strict recording protocols
• Weekly reports / updates for management of all works in progress
