Operations Manager (HEC2327)

R 45 000 to R 60 000 per month

Job Description:
The main purpose of the job is to ensure that the stores in the Cluster Operations Manager's portfolio are run as profitable business units in alignment with Company’s best practices principles and that opportunities, development needs and problem areas are quickly identified, addressed and resolved.

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Preferably a relevant Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma
• Industries preferred – Building, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Hardware or other related industries
• 10 years previous experience in a retail environment
• 5 years previous experience in a mid-senior management position
• Previous experience in Kerridge/Babbage/SAP would be an advantage

Skills and Knowledge:
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Financial acumen (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, setting budgets)
• Inwards and Outwards Logistics/Procurement skills
• Merchandising Principles
• Procurement Processes
• Occupational Health and Safety Act preferable

• Business Principles - Advise and assist Branch Managers with the implementation of standard operating principles and procedures related to relevant areas.
