Orthopedic Devices Sales Representative Based - Jhb, West Rand The following vacancy exists and those interested are requested to apply in writing

Job Grade C_Upper
Reporting to Regional Sales Manager: Ortho-Xact

Job Purpose

To drive increased market penetration of a specified portfolio of Orthopedic Devices in the relevant territory by developing, maintaining and improving customer relationships, offering technical / clinical training and solutions to meet the customers’ and users’ needs, and offer excellent after sales service and support.

Required Learning

• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in the Orthopedic Devices industry • Existing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry preferred. • Experience in strategy development, new business development and sales and marketing required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Key Job Outputs

Sales • Achieve and exceed Sales and GP budgets within territory, relevant customer accounts and product budgets. • New Business Development: Account focused Marketing Strategies towards achieving and exceeding growth targets. Develop and implement tactical plans to realize new growth opportunities. • Implement, monitor and ensure total territorial coverage. • Continuous relationship building with all stakeholders. • Plan appointments and specifications for sales call. • Prepare for sales call i.e. promotional material, sales quote etc. • Visit customers according to sales and customer strategy. • Compulsory attendance of Sales and Strategy meetings as required. • Submit compulsory reporting, this will include a weekly call report and a weekly forecast\ planning report and other related company procedures.

Stock Management • Responsible for the Management of the stock in the area – negotiating placement of new stock items and movement of stock not selling




Training • Provide Support during Procedures • Conduct on-going product training with Customers • Co-ordinate and arrange workshops and lectures as needed in the area • Research and interpret relevant studies in order to use it for infield detailing and training • Attend training courses and congresses as required

Customer Service • To solve customer queries and complaints; • To provide customer with relevant product information; • Continuous relationship building with all stakeholders;

Business Administration • Compile and submit relevant reports as required; • Ability to set standards / objectives and monitor own progress; • Ability to Analyse information; • Understand and implement the company’s quality management system • Completion of Weekly reports on calls made in the previous week and planning for following week
