Education:
Min Matric
Relevant Degree or Diploma
Computer skills – SAP
First Aid Course (desirable)
Firefighting qualification (desirable)

Knowledge/Training of:
Disciplinary Training Procedures
Competition Law Training
Legal Liability Training
Health and Safety in warehousing environment
High Reach Truck and Forklift
Ability to delegate and ensure task execution
Supervisory and Leadership skills

Experience:
3 years relevant Warehouse/Logistics experience
People management experience at Team Leader Level
3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment

Duties:
To effectively manage staff activities on a daily basis by ensuring accurate management of timekeeping and work of permanent and temporary staff including Security
To ensure effective co-ordination of on time orders and that goods are correctly dispatched and loaded according to departure times
To maintain minimal loss due to incorrect picking, checking and loading of goods – in line with set standards
To ensure accurate capturing of data collections and replenishment measures which should be submitted to the Warehouse Team Leader for archiving
To ensure all relevant fleet vehicles, other dispatch machinery, trolleys, cages, pallet jacks, reach truck, forklifts and roller doors are maintained and serviced when required
To maintain inventory query management by resolving customer queries received from Telesales or finance to ensure customer satisfaction
To resolve issues relating to credits and debit sand inspect damaged stock in order to respond timeously to customers
To ensure proactive ordering of procurement material to meet the demands ot the business and 100% accurate allocation of boxes to relevant sales agent
To maintain active involvement on the floor and drive the full process from origin until completion as well as anticipating any deviance with immediate corrective action
To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business
