Job Description:
Established manufacturing supplier is seeking to appoint an exceptional, vibrant telesales specialist, with a proven record of generating business from both existing customers, as well as prospecting for new business. Looking for a strong individual that understand the sales environment with great potential growth to move into management. Professional, service orientated mindset where the customer is the priority, combined with an enthusiastic and persuasive communication style, to guide a prospective customer to closing the sale. You will build good relationships with customers and prospective customers and be able to work with limited supervision to achieve your goals.

Skills requirements:
Proven experience as telesales representative of at least three years, with a successful record of meeting sales targets.
Computer Literate and with good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., Outlook, QuickBooks, Excel).
Ability to learn about products and services and describe / explain them to prospects.
Friendly, fast and efficient temperament & ability, with excellent negotiation skills.
Proficient and fluent in English and Afrikaans.
High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification.
Entrepreneurial spirit, well spoken, credibility & drive.
Ability to take ownership and execute excellent time management over duties of the position with minimum oversight.
Must love animals.

Contacting new business and existing clients to inform them about products and generating orders.
Providing product knowledge to clients, assisting with wholesale and retail customer enquiries.
Surveying and covering a needs analysis to understand customer requirements, ability to identify & qualify leads to generate sales.
Accountability for monthly target driven sales budgets through both existing customer orders and new business.
Admin duties including arranging quotes for couriers & shipping & ensuring accuracy of order process.
Capturing and processing client information in the database.
Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation and have good problem-solving skills.
Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
Providing reliable & actionable data to increase efficiency and productivity, converting customer enquiries into sales opportunities.
