We are looking for someone who has experience in driving acquisitions via a wide range of paid media channels. The candidate needs to have good understanding of online marketing tools and performance trackers such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and tracking pixels/postbacks, and should be eager to grow their skills in these areas. This position will work closely with other internal teams, marketing staff, the affiliate program and other managers to increase sales opportunities and maximise revenue.

Together with the MIT Manager, the Paid Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing the Paid Media strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Acquisition – Growth comes from acquiring new players and clients. Analyse all acquisition activities to find out what to stop and where to pour resources.
• Business Development planning – Plan, execute and analyse new marketing initiatives.
• New Business Development – Drive traffic, analyse results, adjust advertising and landing pages. Growth is the number one goal.
• Research - Actively prospect all available avenues to offer our acquisition and conversion optimisation.

Acquisition
• Acquiring new customers as focus will be on client acquisition
• Generating a strong pipeline of prospective clients/customers

New Business Development

• Source or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Researching appropriate markets or geographical area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with your team and other departments to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Identifying sales opportunities within existing clients and work jointly with the delivery team to grow the account
• Play active role in networking with key prospective clients
• Establish contact and engage with executives from future partnering organizations

Business Development Planning

• From time to time, the candidate will be required to attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Present to, and consult with, mid- and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Would need to identify and participate in marketing and promotional activities
• Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications with External & Internal managers


Research

• Looking at emerging media trends and ensuring that the company are at the forefront of new trends and new ways to acquire players
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
• Forecast acquisition targets and ensure they are met.
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
• Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.

Other
• Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

On a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Google AdWords account management, inclusive of advert creation, campaign management and bid management
• Facebook advertising account management, inclusive of advert creation, campaign management and bid management
• Management of external suppliers and publishers ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns
• Ongoing search for new opportunities drive acquisition
• Ensure campaigns are running in alignment to given target metrics and KPIs
• Working with Development Team to ensure all technical requirements are implemented as and when they are required from the publisher
• Ensure reporting and tracking is fully functional, and troubleshoot accordingly with Development Team in the event it is not
• Briefing in of creative
• Reporting on campaign performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis


Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years paid media or digital/social media marketing experience required
• 2+ years sale experience is advantageous
• Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field preferred
• Digital Marketing, Sales or related certification is advantageous
• Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and technologies and reporting platforms
• Proven ability to develop an understanding of new products, industry and competition in a short space of time
• Ability to proactively identify new business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals
• Experience in creating and managing innovative campaigns
• Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads and tracking pixels/postbacks
• Ability to interpret and report on analytics and performance of campaigns
• Ability to work on multiply campaigns
