Reporting to Senior Maintenance Manager
Client: Property Development & Management
CTC of up to R4000 (dependent on experience, qualifications) plus 5% provident fund contribution

Role and Responsibilities: Provide painting services to the relevant buildings and ensure standards are maintained at all times.

Minimum experience and requirements:

EDUCATION:
• Matric

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Painter with at least 2 years’ experience in the trade or semi-skilled exposure to the painting environment.

Key Performance Areas:
• Ensure that that the buildings allocated to you are well painted as required
• Ensure that paintwork is attended to timeously and performed according to the standards required by the company
• Ensure the tools given to you by the company are kept in good condition
• Mix different types and standards of paints as and when required.
• Clean tanks and prepare the surface until suitable for painting.
• Read specs and ensure that the correct color and type of paint is used.
• Mask and paint required areas as instructed or as per instructions.
• Measure and record paint thickness.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment.
• Paint an even and consistent thickness of the paint coat.
• Paint all kinds of shapes and styles of surfaces
• Adhere at all times to all health and safety standards as required by the company
• Wear protective clothing as provided to you by the company
• Completing all task to the company standard; and
• All other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
