Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position at the Commercial Division. The Pallet and Crates Controller is responsible for creating a seamless flow of information between Sovereign and the primary logistics suppliers thereby administering, pallets and crates costs, within agreed limits. This position reports to the Financial Manager. A qualification in Accounting/Logistics, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance environment, computer literacy on an intermediate level, particularly on MS Excel is essential. Experience in CHEP online system would be advantageous.

Results Required:

• Monitor and track pallet and crate costs.
• Maintain and distribute daily and weekly pallet and crates reports.
• Build good relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicate with Transport Provider re delivery return reports.
• Report on quality inspections and pallet counts for all sites.
• Liaise with and resolve queries with CHEP, transport providers and sales team.
• Administrator POD’s and recovery of pallets and crates.
• Review and provide a report of outstanding pallets and crates.
• Ensure accurate administration relating to CHEP documentation.
