PASTRY CHEF MPUMALANGA PROVINCE GAME LODGE

This luxury game lodge URGENTLY needs an experienced and talented PASTRY CHEF all-rounder with at least 2 years experience in a 5 star luxury lodge or hotel to start January 2020.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for running the Pastry section of the kitchen, to assist the Head/Sous Chef in the Kitchen operation and ensure the company’s reputation for quality food is maintained at all times

Minimum requirements
Grade 12 preferred
Formal Chef qualification (advantageous)
Plus Formal Patisserie Qualification
Min 2 years’ experience in a 5* Lodge/Hotel
Experience running the Pastry Kitchen
Team management, maintaining food safety and quality standards, rostering, overseeing all mise-en-place, food cost and quality control etc.

Market related salary with live in accommodation offered the right person who is used to and prepared to work at a remote game lodge. Passionate about your career as a chef and love for preparing good meals.
