Jacques Hau, a clothing manufacturer in Cape Town, is currently looking to employ an experienced Manual Patternmaker.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Manual Patternmaker:
• Responsible for making pattern for specific departments
• Responsible for making pattern for review samples for the Design Department
• Working with Designers from concept stage and making patterns as per brief
• Checking pattern against all details
• Creating and completing a pattern while working from a check list
• Ensuring that all measurement information is correct

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS/ATTRIBUTES:

• Matric and Pattern-making Diploma
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Accuracy and Efficiency are critical for the position
• Good communication skills required.
• Minimum 5 years Pattern-making experience required

REMUNERATION:

Market-related CTC which includes benefits, depending on experience.
