JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
? Grade 12 certificate
? Qualified Patternmaker
Minimum Experience:
? 5 - 8 years heavy foundry pattern making experience
? Knowledge and experience of drawings and measuring instruments
? Foundry processes experience
? Knowledge of feeding and runner systems

Key Tasks:
? Manufacture patterns as per drawings
? Responsible for carrying out maintenance work on patterns
? Repair patterns, if and when required
? Responsible for correct storage of patterns and the location thereof
? Adherence to safety inspection of machines / equipment as per safe work instructions
? To operate designated machines as per work instructions
? Perform Total Production Maintenance (TPM) checklists
? Adherence to quality control as per work instructions
? Ensure patterns are not damaged and are correct as per work instruction requirements
? Report non-conformances and communicate suggestions for improvement to the Technical Manager
? Report unsafe conditions to Technical Manager
? Maintain demarcation lines in area of work
? Stack items in allocated areas and in a safe manner
? Attend compulsory safe start / green are meetings at the beginning of every shift
? Adherence to all statutory HSE and housekeeping / 5S requirements
? Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
