Main purpose of job
Control tasks within Payroll department, processing of payroll and all tasks related to payroll processing.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
Grade 12/Matric/Senior Certificate
Certificate in Payroll (would be an added advantage)

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
2 years’ payroll experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Processing of accurate payroll input
Capturing of paid leave on terminations
Identify unusual or incorrect movements on the payroll
Unlocking bank change request
Assisting HR and management with specialised payroll calculation and explanations
Checking of processed payroll information
Garnishees (Court Orders) and maintenance orders
Issuing of payslips, IRP5’s and attachments as required
Payroll queries
Basic tax and nett payment calculations
Filing
Weekly wages
Ad-hoc duties
Final schedules

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES
Microsoft Office
Strong Excel skills essential
SAP knowledge essential
