A large concern is seeking an experienced PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR - based in Pietermaritzburg.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Matric (Grade 12).
Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
Code 08 driver's license and preferably own reliable transport.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Extensive experience with Sage VIP and ESS programmes.
5 years previous experience in processing payroll.
Time and attendance software.
Sound knowledge and experience of PAYE and statutory compliance and understanding of employee benefits.
Sound knowledge and experience of payroll reconciliation processes.
In-depth knowledge of payroll related legislation.
Ensuring timeous and accurate end-to-end processing of company payroll of approximately 450 employees on Sage VIP / ESS.
Maintenance of payroll and leave administration systems.
Monthly mandatory payroll reconciliation, journals and payment of PAYE, UIF and SDL and 3rd party payments.
Full reconciliation of all employee benefits.
Responding to queries regarding remuneration and other matters.
Prepare year-end tax submissions.
Accurate and timeous delivery of adhoc, mandatory, monthly and annual human resources reports.
Manage day to day administration functions and duties.
