Join a very large, well established corporate concern as Payroll administrator. You will be reporting to the Payroll manager. Only reason your title is an Administrator is because of the size of the company but your work will very much entail that of someone who is normally responsible for the full payroll function on his/her own.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? Minimum 4 years Payroll Administration experience is essential
? Experience on the HRFocus and/or Payroll Focus system will be an advantage
? Advanced Excel and Word experience is essential (prefer someone with VLookup experience)
? Information Technology proficiency
? Problem solving


DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Payroll and Administration
? Process payroll and maintain payroll information as required:
o Capture source data received for all personnel transactions such as new appointments, terminations, benefits, deductions, garnishees, etc.
o Payment of external creditors such as unions, garnishees, etc.
o Gross to Net calculations and reconciliations (payroll code balancing)
? Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports
? Cross-training designated Payroll staff (back-up) to administer and process payroll
? Works closely with Human Resources
? Research and resolves problems and perform scheduled activities
? Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries and conduct appropriate checks to ensure accuracy.
? Prepare and maintain accurate records.
? Provide accurate information via payroll reporting
? Reconciliations
? Support Payroll Supervisor including preparation of documents and follow-up on timelines and deliverables.
? Other duties as assigned

This position does not supervise other personnel.
