Payroll Manager
Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:
? Responsible for all payroll functions, Ensuring the accuracy of payroll preparation for the division and processing, payroll accounting, tax filing and remittance, benefits maintenance and various special payments.
? Perform a first review of payroll prior submitting to management for review. Ensuring that payment is made by the last day of each month via electronic transfer to employee bank accounts.
? Maintains the payroll information from HR Personal files, calculation and entering of data.
? Prepare and submit the monthly payments to NBC, Garnishees, etc, ensuring that the payments are made by the 1st of each month and reconciled to the statements received. Provide Management with the monthly reconciliation.
? Responding to inquiries related to payroll and providing guidance on the prevailing laws governing payroll and income taxes, employee benefits, garnishments, reimbursement policies and other statutory pay related entitlements.
? Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in taxation, exemptions, deductions and job titles and transfers.
? Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies. Post Payroll journal and intercompany salary journal on a monthly basis, in line with the monthly timetable. Reconcile the IS salary related accounts for the company to VIP on a monthly basis. All reconciled items are to be cleared in the following month which they were identified in.
Skills and Experience
? A highly accurate and motivational individual, who is able to represent the Servest Group's brand image
? Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
? Relevant tertiary qualification
? VIP Payroll experience is a must
