We are a rapidly expanding company, based in Umhlanga Durban, looking for the following person to join our team as a: Personal Assistant/ Receptionist and or Administrator with at least 5 years’ experience minimum. (Should you not have the relevant experience or minimum requirements as stated in the advert, do not apply.)

Your roles and responsibilities will include the following:
1. General switchboard / reception / administration
• Assist and direct walk-in customers,
• Answering the switchboard with internal and external calls,
• Doing general administration and providing general support as needed,
• Maintain telephone system, and
• Any other ad-hoc / general duties as required.
2. Assist the CEO
• Manage and maintain the CEO’s diary and email account,
• Filter emails highlight urgent correspondence and print attachments,
• Ensure that diary commitments, papers and travel, managements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers etc.,
• Schedule on behalf of the CEO meetings between him and his direct reports and the committees and group to which he is a member,
• Ensure that the CEO is fully briefed on or prepared for any engagements,
• Minute general meetings as required and complete research on behalf of the CEO, and
• Keep and retrieve files.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
• Previous secretarial and administrative experience within a fast-paced FMCG / Retail / construction environment.
• 5 - 10 years Personal assistant experience.
• Min Qualification: Matric – Essential and a National Diploma – Secretarial.
• Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excels, PowerPoints).
• Multitasking, Punctuality, Active listening skills, Time management, High level of confidentiality.
