About the Company:

Our client is a performance-driven software development house that is based in Gillitt’s KZN.

They write software for the logistics, supply-chain, and security industries, our client made their name writing leading public facing apps such as the Bottles app which has over 350’000 downloads.

This 5-member strong team is seeking to expand rapidly to support one of their main clients. The office environment is very relaxed, developers are trusted to work independently and allow themselves to grow and gain vast experience in the Development space.

Position Overview:

2+ years’ experience required – preferably 5 years. The successful candidates must be able to work independently, display an out-of-the-box mindset within a small team environment.

Essential experience required specifically in processing business logic in a watertight, efficient, robust and well-designed architecture, including handling web service calls and submissions from an app/web frontend Knowledgeable in best design practices to avoid SQL Injection attacks, and other validations and data scrubbing. Writing APIs and connecting to third-party APIs is often a part of the daily work.

Must be proficient in the following skills.

• PHP. • MySQL • JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 will be beneficial.
