Reporting to Senior Maintenance Manager
Client: Property Development & Management Company
CTC of up to R6 000 (dependent on experience, qualifications) plus 5% provident fund contribution)

Main Purpose of the Job To ensure that the plumbing requirements of all South Point Buildings are met as set and defined by the client standard.
Minimum experience and requirements:

EDUCATION:
• Matric

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 2 to 3 years of Plumbing experience

Behavioral Dimensions and Skills required
• Verbal and written communication skills;
• Professional personal presentation;
• Time management.

Key Performance Areas
• Transport equipment/material/personnel to and from specific locations.
• Repair leaking pipes and unblock sewer lines;
• Unblock toilets and basins;
• Need to cost the material required to execute a job
o Needs to have an understanding of what parts/material are required to execute the job at hand;
• Installation of bath, basin, toilet, urinal, and geyser;
• Changing of tap washers;
• Will need to care for the tools issued to him/her
o Including power tools issued on the sign-out;
• Reporting any faulty equipment or hazards in the workplace;
• Minimizing wastage of material;
• Accurate completion of all job cards within the expected turnaround time;
• He/she will be required to work overtime in case of emergencies;
• Will do week-end duty by rotation;
• Will need to work the extended hours between November-February to prepare vacate and new academic intake;
• Will be required to complete work to the client's standard;
• Any ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned to him/her by management.
