This Johannesburg base role is critical to ensure that all the organisations clients receive the post investment support in accordance with business needs that seek to ensure sustainability and ability to repay their loan or provide the requested equity returns. The incumbent will track key performance indicators and milestones for individual enterprises and will propose interventions based on the indicators. In addition, market opportunities for clients in the portfolio must be proactively identified and linkages made.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience requirements:
• Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance major will be an advantage)
• 3- 5 years’ in the SMME enterprise development/commercial loan sector
• Strong risk analysis and report writing skills
• Must be able to independently evaluate financial models
• Good understanding of investment process and of the DFI space
• Track record of managing clients ensuring that service levels are consistently high and meet the organization’s service charter
• Strong understanding of SMMEs and training and development requirements
• Competent computer skills – must be able to work with MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Strong project co-ordination skills

KRA's
• Portfolio Management
• Co-coordinating the implementation of identified client needs post transaction approval, based on allocated portfolio as agreed with line manager.
• Working in partnership with Business Support service providers where appropriate, incorporating key identified needs and milestones to be achieved
• Developing and maintaining relationships across sector that will unlock markets for the clients
• Visiting clients on a rotation basis in line with, business support needs, risk rating and priority status
• Raising red flags where appropriate in time for interventions to be implemented
• Preparing Post Investment monitoring monthly and quarterly reports on portfolio under management
• Stipulating client visitation outcomes and interventions, training programmes effectiveness and impact achieved
• Monthly reporting on loan portfolio to organization
• Restructuring deals to ensure loan repayments and effective turn around strategies
• Present Workout and Restructuring deals to the relevant committees for approvals
• Participate in deals pre-approval stage by providing insight on lessons learnt based on experience from the existing loan portfolio and provide review commentary of the deal before EXCO approval
• Performing analysis on the clients in the portfolio in terms of Market, Operations and Financial
Business Accelerator:
• Monitor and evaluate Business Accelerator performance and recommend appropriate interventions
• Facilitate and/ provide mentoring and coaching of enterprises through the Business Accelerator where required
Stakeholder Management 
• Network and build effective linkages with reagent stakeholders.
• In collaboration with marketing and stakeholder manger develop business accelerator marketing tools and material.
• Develop relationships across sectors that will unlock markets for Fund clients
• Forward opportunities to showcase client success stories to marketing and stakeholder team
• Attend joint venture meetings.
Reporting
• Report to Head Post Investment and Business Support
• Report weekly and monthly on performance of portfolio and unit
• Present workout / restructure deals at relevant committees
