We are currently searching for a self-motivated, energetic and innovative PR Officer.

Job purpose

As the PR officer you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of PR, including but not limited to PR strategy, communications and marketing activities. You will be required to create and manage relationships with potential partners with a view of enhancing the 1-grid brand and reputation. It’s essential that the candidate have an extensive network of contacts, ideally within the advertising and marketing industry, to ensure optimal brand reach.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand brand identity, capture and cultivate a brand voice, and adhere to branding guidelines
Plan and develop PR campaigns, publicity strategies and partnerships
Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives
Write, produce and distribute presentations and press releases
Proofread and edit content before Go Live
Prepare and submit extensive PR reports providing insights into reach, audience and other notable analytics
Address inquiries from the media and other parties
Translate high-level concepts and briefs into the concise finished copy
Provide updates on ongoing project updates to coordinate with team members
Working closely with the wider creative team to ensure top-quality output
Market research, specifically focusing on trends, local and international
Build and cultivate relationships within the industry
