Sovereign, a national supplier of top quality poultry products to markets via various brands is seeking to employ a Pre-Mix Supervisor in the Agriculture division at its Feedmill in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The incumbent will be require to make up premix packs according to formulation and ensure that sufficient stocks are available to meet the requirements of the production plan. This position holds the TASK Grade T07 and reports to the Production Manager: Feedmill.
The successful candidate should have a matric certificate or equivalent and good computer literacy with previous experience in preparing premixes. Previous experience in feed manufacturing will be advantageous.

Results Required
• Ensure the preparation and production of premixes according to the set requirements.
• Maintain adequate control of the stock through performing daily stock counts and reconciliation of stock sheets
• Perform and record daily scale verifications and immediately report any deviations to Maintenance Manager
• Ensure that Maintenance regularly services mixer, aspiration filter, ventilation fans, auger and scales
• Ensure that housekeeping on premix equipment and the premix store and admin area is done regularly
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to work, working conditions, discipline, SHE, BRC and administration
• Report accurately and timeously on any problems that may occur during the course of carrying out normal duties to a person in authority for further action.
