FSG FORENSICS has a vacancy for a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES at our head office in Westville, Durban. Applicants 1) MUST have investigative experience in the following areas – finding people (absconded debtors, witnesses, beneficiaries of Estates, missing persons), finding property, finding assets and finding stolen property, covert surveillance, insurance loss-related investigations, the investigation of infidelity and other domestic disputes, the investigation of all nature of civil disputes, identifying and finding the assets of natural and juristic persons, the investigation of work-place losses, and the investigation of crimes like assault GBH, theft, fraud and financial crimes, 2) MUST have knowledge of SAPS criminal investigation procedures, and of civil dispute legal procedures, 3) MUST know how to question and take statements from suspects/witnesses, 4) MUST be prepared to be trained as a FORENSIC INVESTIGATOR, 5) MUST be registered with PSIRA as and a private investigator, 6) MUST own his/her own vehicle to use for work for which he/she will be remunerated on a per km driven basis and a driver’s license, 7) MUST be highly COMPUTER and ENGLISH literate, 8) MUST be able to write professional Investigation Service Proposals and Investigation Reports in ENGLISH, 9) MUST have internet and other media research experience, 10) MUST be prepared to work long hours and travel out-of-town to conduct investigations, and 11) MUST be target/goal/results driven. Candidates can be of any age/sex/race/culture as long as they: A) Possess the requisite skills and experience and meet the criteria prescribed in this advert, B) Can demonstrate their INTEGRITY and HONESTY, C) Are in good health and prove they have had all Covid vaccinations, D) Present appropriate professional references, E) Are already based in the greater Durban area, F) Have never been convicted of a crime or suspended/sanctioned by a regulatory authority, G) Present a detailed CV that includes their SA identity number AND a copy of their ID document, their place of residence and a detailed explanation for leaving previous places of employment, and H) Agree that by submitting their CV, they waiver their POPI Act rights and consent that FSG can make whatever enquiries are necessary to assess their suitability. REMUNERATION and remuneration structure is dependent on experience and qualifications.
