Processing Consultant
Sandton, Johannesburg
R8 000 – R15 000 pm

The primary focus of your role will be to perform duties as follows:

• Full operational reporting and support for the various processing areas
• Processing forms, instructions etc. requested by customers for the relevant processing area
• Dealing with queries through to resolution
• Adherence to all quality standards and processes within the Budgeting and Finance area
• Adherence to the processing area's SOP
• Adherence to organisations compliance processes and procedures
• Complete complex tasks fast and accurately
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)
• Debit order processing
• Preparation and submission of daily commission calculations
• Daily allocation of payments from the bank and regular reconciliation
• Processing cashbook up to trial balance
• Responding to client enquiries timeously
• Look at ways to improve systems and procedure

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• A tertiary financial qualification
• University degree is preferable
• Minimum 2 years financial experience
• Business and Operational knowledge of Insurance Industry administrative processes
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Pastel Accounting package
• Be knowledgeable with the use of CRM system
• Familiar with Compliance processes and procedures in the Insurance Industry
• Advanced Microsoft suite
• Must be organised and have the right financial skills
• Ability to make decisions, analytical mind and excellent problem solving techniques
