Manage the commercial and operational relationship with all the suppliers of production materials
Negotiate price reviews after careful review of the cost drivers of each supplier
Negotiate and finalize service level agreements
Ensure vendor evaluation reports are completed monthly for selected strategic suppliers.
Take the necessary action in the case of supply/supplier issues, this could lead to discontinue supplier or work intensively with a supplier to improve quality and service.
Assist and support group procurement to ensure outcomes on categories managed on group level are favorable

Experience Required At least 4-5 years' procurement management experience in Procurement of which at least 5 years' at a business within the Plastic / Packaging industry
Minimum Qualifications Required A completed Commercial Degree/Diploma or similar in Purchasing/Procurement; Supply Chain or Logistics
Knowledge Required Good project management skills
Strong knowledge of commodity markets
SAGE Evolution mandatory
AIB/HCCP/ISO/FCCP 22 000 knowledge would be advantageous
Salary ( R 27 000 to R 33 500)
