PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING SECTOR
Leading pharmaceutical manufacturing concern seeks a suitably qualified / experience Product Release Pharmacist with 2 – 3 years’ product release experience to join their dynamic team.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Release of TPN, import product, medical devices and all critical starting materials /consumables to ensure product safety, quality and efficacy.

Maintenance of all records related to release in an easily retrievable manner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry within a product release role
Sound knowledge of GMP
Knowledge of product release requirements and related legislation
Knowledge of Aseptic production would be advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Release of import products
Release of medical devices
Release of all critical starting material/consumables
Laboratory liaison
Management of retention samples
Release of TPN
Documentation/systems
SYSPRO management of stock
Product Release
o Authorization to approve or reject all components, drug product containers, closures, in-process materials, packaging materials, labeling and drug products.
