Product (Trucks) Specialist position available in S.A for a Leading Heavy Vehicle (Trucks) Manufacturer. Candidate will be required to be in charge of organizing technical training, prepare training course material, technical support to dealers. Candidates must also be able to identify the short comings of the product compared to the needs of the South African market.
Basic Salary of R 45 000.00 to R 100 000.00 on offer with Medical aid and Pension contributions. Possibility of additional benefits to be discussed.
Candidate must meet the following requirements: National Higher Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Business Acumen. High attention to detail and working under pressure. In-depth knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and technology. More than five years of related automotive aftersales and technical experience. Project management principals. Engineering practises and standards. Knowledge of relevant legislation ie. Road traffic act and compulsory standards. Advanced understanding of engineering drawings and illustrations. Compiling and presentation of technical reports. Be service orientated with high levels of work ethic. Proactive, Task focused and Respectful.
