The Agriculture Feedmill Department is seeking a Production Assistant for its operations in Rosslyn. The incumbent of this position will be required to ensure finished stock levels are updated and that tipped raw materials are controlled and available. This position is Task Grade T06 and reports to the Production Supervisor.
The successful incumbent of this position should be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate or NQF level 4 equivalents and computer literacy. Previous operating experience in a Feedmill would be an advantage.

Results Required:

The successful candidate must have good analytical skills, attention to detail and be driven to achieve industry leading results through the administration of the following:

• Ensure feed production accurately
• Attend to production plant maintenance and equipment
• Assist with housekeeping and keeping the feed waste area tidy
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to work, working conditions, discipline, SHE, BRC and administration
• Adhere to all safety, health and environmental standards
• Carry out any other reasonable instruction that management might issue
