Production Leader – HAMMARSDALE

Previous experience in a non-woven materials environment is preferred.

The purpose of the Production Leaders is to ensure that the production process runs in an efficient, safe and effective manner with minimal waste, down time or rejects.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Must have a basic understanding and working knowledge of system procedures and work instructions relevant to their area of responsibility, and ensure that they are implemented and adhered to on an ongoing basis.
• Must be able to set up all production’s lines under his/her responsibility with the aid of the machine settings.
• Must be able to do all necessary quality checks and correct deviations such as weight, appearance, etc.
• Must be effective in organising the labour to perform line cleans, set-ups, start-ups, change overs etc. within the allocated time 50% of the time and never exceed 130% of allocated time unless exceptional circumstances apply that need to be justified.
• Must have a good awareness and appreciation of good housekeeping practises such as:
o Everything has a place and everything in its place.
o The one touch principle.
o The floor is not a rubbish bin.
