RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PRODUCTION MANAGER (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) for a company based in the OLIFANTSFONTEIN, GAUTENG.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Qualified artisan.
Degree / Diploma in Production / Operations Management.
10 years previous experience in the production industry.
5 years previous experience in a management / leadership role.
Would suit someone from a packaging background environment.
Manufacturing background.
Person must have a strong personality, excellent leadership skills,
Task oriented, organizing overflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
Ensure efficient and productive manufacturing process.
Manage and ensure human resources for production activities.
Staff management.
Manage production plant, processes and systems.
Manage productivity of the production unit as a whole.
Plan resources requirements and implementation of strategic goals and objectives.
Translate and implement the manufacturing and business strategies.
Manage occupational health, safety and risk in the production plant.
Manage asset care for entire production plant.
Organize and interpret production data and operational information.
Compile and manage budgets.
Authorize weekly / annual production plans and schedules.
Coordinate CAPIN / CAPEX justification.
Manage and ensure quality control.
