Job Description

Oversee the scheduling process and prioritise drawings accordingly
Oversee assembly and wiring teams for the company’s department
Manage contract Engineers as well as other contractors
Supply technical support to production lines and Contract Engineers
Coordinate and oversee the production line to ensure production schedules are followed
Support and manage SHEQ initiatives and objectives
Analyse budgets and continuously control production costs and identify waste measures
Manage all activities within the production process including maintenance and workforce
Manage all teams within your production department
Create and implement organisational/production changes on an operative level
Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to production and the production line
Ensure the products are of the best quality and up to company standards
Asses project resources and requirements
Organise the routine or process of equipment maintenance
Draft timescales for projects or jobs

Minimum Requirements

Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Exp. in MV Switchgear in the relevant industry
Management exp. at a Senior level
Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, MS Projects, AS400 and Schematic interpretation
Valid drivers’ license
