Purpose of the Job:
The Production Planner is responsible to control, plan, steer and ensure the smooth running of the production process, supply chain and distribution process.

Job Responsibilities
? Follow-up trends and oversells with HQ to determine if oversell will be an effective undersell on next month’s FC and vice versa
? Manage labelling plan to optimize unlabeled stock holding
? Determine forecast accuracy from HQ
? Plan production to ensure in time releases and availability of FGS
? Distribute production plan to relevant parties
? Manage MRP system to ensure correct Raw Material stock holding and availability
? Determine possible volume deals / buying power
? Source alternative suppliers.
? Work with procurement team to procure relevant Raw Material based on requirements, shelf life and volume to make use of best delivery options
? Follow-up on slow moving and close to expiry stock (FGS and Raw Materia) to ensure the best possible recovery option
? Work with Production Manager to ensure man power and machine optimization for best possible cost recovery
? Liaise with maintenance for scheduled maintenance
? Liaise with NPD for scheduled trails
? Ensure that all suppliers have product specs from NPD / Technical before orders are placed and delivered.
? Ensuring that SLA's for fleet service providers are maintained and engagement is constant.
? Managing DOC, working capital, returns to issues and weeks in trade of finished goods and empties.
? Ensuring that inventory management processes are entrenched and managing stock gains and losses.
? Calculate and verify Delivery fleet size and mix weekly, monthly and annually.
? Administrating and Supervising effective communication, understanding and endorsement of company Vision, Mission and
Strategic goals by the staff members.
? Raw material sourcing, procuring and Delivery planning.
? Compile and Measure key performance indicators and Areas daily and cumulative basis.
? Ensure that you liase with the GM for procurement, Finance Manager for cost distribution plan and WC Optimization

? BCom in Accounting
? 2 years’ experience working in FMCG Industry
